Ploughing using a very rare Schlüter Profi Trac 3500 TVL with Dowdeswell front press arm, Evers furrow press and a five furrow Lemken Opal 180 5 furrow plough. Only 4 of these tractors are ever build, this one is the last build in 1976 and has a 320 HP MAN engine.
Its the predecessor of the modern Claas Xerion tractors which are designed by the same engineers of this Schlüter.
Com: Dav : Thanks for this rare tractor video demonstrating it's capabilities.
Wikipedia outlines the economic and regulatory forces that unfortunately sent this company bankrupt. It looked very powerful and modern for 1976 with all 4 wheel power & steering.
Euro-politicians threw too much red tape at the tractor manufacturers and only the big boys survived. From your introduction, at least the engineers were able to carry on their designs to other tractor brands.
Com : Pat : That engine is pure muscle, it's good to see such a rare tractor out in the field. It looked to be a damn good job as well. Thanks for sharing this with us. Good video.
