In today's video I will take you disking with me in our new tractor. My Dad is giving me disking lessons to smooth out the ruts in the wash-out areas of our coulees. I really enjoy learning, get a bit confused, and even forget to put the disk in the ground! LOL This is what practice is all about. I really learn a lot today! I see the neighbor's dogs! What would you do in a old tractor without power steering my dad used use horses to plough with so did my grandad how would you go on with shire horses

Are those coulees a natural formation or did someone a century ago regrade the land to create proper drainage? Or do you guys regrade as needed from time to time with a specific tool?

I was just like you when i was was your age when it come to disking for the first time it was nerve racking, But one thing is take to heart everything your dad is teaching you always keep in mind he has done this hundred of times over and had done it in all different ways you could imagine so he knows how to get it done right the first time, but i think the most important thing
