Comments: -- Looks to me like those skidder drivers need to be filling that wet hole in with those pine tops and making them a pad.
They actually might keep from rutting up people's land. Tires leave some major holes for the land owner to deal with for years.
No dought great for spring wouldent want to run all year and mantainence nightmare im shure i could see spending lots of time and $ but they get you threw the spring
This is awesome. Does it make for a better ride? I know regular skidders and cat skidding is rough and bouncy. Looks like this helps a lot.
Commercial logging is much better today than it was before but that guy pulling that one tree out would get you shut down PA. Pa is big on not destroying whats around you that tree should have been bucked
If they made sets that had 30 and 36 inch wide pads for the sandy swamps down in the deep south of the u.s. they could pick up lots of customers that do swamp logging or wetlands clear cutting
Use this skidder to pull wood up steep hills or through wet area's up to where a wheel skidder can take it to the landing. I've been stuck on steep slopes with a rubber tire skidder but with these tracks I could pull wood up steep wet ground with ease.
