Hi Laura, I'm a young farmer like you, and it's very interesting and pleasant to see how much dedication you too apply yourself to this wonderful job, which to be done well requires having a real vocation.. Fingers crossed for a perfect birth of these corns and thanks for this wonderful video
Well, I am not a farmer, a bit of a gardener all my life, but you are a very smart, pretty, hard working young lady. Just a bit of well intended advice from someone who has been around a lot of years, longer than your parents even, and has experienced a lot and gained a similar amount of wisdom. When we are young we think we are invincible and don't think about how what we do then will affect us later in life. I have noticed you are often exposing yourself to all types of things that you breath into your lungs. I am not a doctor, but I have lost many family members and friends in my lifetime (some very close love ones) , some to lung issues caused by many different types of things . Do yourself a favor now, wear a mask of some type or even a respirator, when appropriate, to protect those valuable organs. You only have one pair. Stay healthy and keep healthy, you have a zest for life, you owe it to yourself and to those who love you.
Thank you for posting as usual. From an older carpenter who feels alive when hands are dirty and the job is done, thank you. We are fortunate to have you getting gritty and letting all of us know what is going on and the trials and tribulations of self employment and what goes on, day in and day out, to keep us fed and fueled.
