Comments: - - The idea is perfect, there are gardeners who think negatively, but they don't think that the neighbors of their clients don't want to hear the annoying noise, in short, these are people who shit on others.
The idea of the silencer is good, only that the homemade dospositive would do it without disassembling the original exhaust, anyway it would be good if an engineer could think why the brands do not directly design a quieter exhaust? Is it not possible or do we do it to reduce costs?
Don't muffle the sound. Instead, add a speaker system so it plays the music in this video. 2:38 You'll still be loud, but your neighbors will rock out every time you trim those weeds!
The new muffler you made is more like silencer for 4 stroke engine. I believe your engine is 2 stroke. In 2 stroke engine you need resonance chamber before the silencer, otherwise your fuel consumption will be higher and your engine will loose power at certain rpm.
So now it's heavier and louder than before, plus it runs as tough as guts.... Mmmm tell me again why you wasted a day modifying it ? Maybe I missed something?
I don't get it. I thought it was supposed to make it quieter. Plus, he should have used schedule 80 pipe and 1" thick round plates on both ends instead of those cheesy little 1/4" thick plates.
Now that you've made a race muffler, try out a baffled silencer type muffler with spark arrestor and see if you can quiet it down a lot.
