Watching the claw work on the school bus was oddly gratifying. As a kid in the country, I spent over an hour on the way in to school and another hour on the way home... which come to think of it, may explain my delight at watching that bus get torn apart.
How is this more efficient than keeping all those parts that are not mechanical like Windows and things like that for Re-Use Store repurposed for other buses
Cars are literally built with this in mind. They go from brand new to yanked apart so they can't be put together too well.
The operator is probably the less stressful man on earth. Us normal folks need stress balls? This man destroys things to relieve his stress lol
What they ought to do is have a contest in school and whoever wins the contest they can go to a scrap yard and operate a similiar machine letting the winning student shred an old school bus.
These types of buses end up in countries like Guatemala where they are used for intercity passenger transport and there have been several accidents with them.
