Comments: - - As a military historian for 41 years,...., I can assure the reader, that every invader, no matter how powerful, will suffer what we suffered in Vietnam, Iraqi, and Afghanistan!!!!...
The Russians faired no better then we did in their wars against those countries,.....it is the will and self sacrifice, to the death, that determines any military out come, bottom line!!!....... When some one invades your country, all bets are off!......Even the Nazis cost the Russians over 350,000 of their soldiers just in the taking of Berlin.. just in that one city!!...Something to think about !!
The Bazooka and Panzer Faust were early type anti tank guns. Shoulder fired but not guided after initial aim point. I would think a gun ship type aircraft could deploy dozens of these on supply lines of armor vehicles. Dozens of such aircraft along with their usual anti ground operations armament could raise problems with tank type assaults.
This weapon system could be nicknamed the “ mother in law “ for its tenacious abilities to trouble armor supply columns. Of course more practical with air superiority but still able to extent in infantry type tactics.
This goes to show that the US equipment and military systems are really effective even against Russian or Chinese-made military hardware. More so if the infantry, marines, or naval personnel who use them are fully trained.
