Buying a used Ditch Witch 6510 tractor with a A647 rock saw attachment. Installing new teeth, replacing a hydraulic cylinder. Then doing a demonstration.
Com: Slavik: 10:30 who ever ran that machine last is a piece of crap operator. I work for a traffic signal company and we do a lot of rocksawing. I have never seen teeth in such a bad shape. You HAVE to replace them WAAAAAY before they look like that.
Com: Prkison: Can I help you with some advice I’ve operated that machine 6510 rock saw for 20 years and two things your going to have to think about is the machine needs to be completely level so the blade doesn’t bind .
And second if your trencher has all four gears and all your belts are this there under your operators seat is in good shape you can control the speed of the blade.
Note the machine works better and cuts better with the disc spinning at a higher rotation and that’s done with the belts on the jack shaft , of course 1st gear would be slower and the higher gears makes it go faster but please don’t try and start off trying to spring the disc on 4 th great start off on 1 st and gradually shift greats to pick up speed. Trust me your save your belts
Com: Pedro: The second I saw that lift cylinder I knew it was gonna give you hell. We sent sent one from work to get it new seals when we got it back it looked like someone sold there soul to get it open.
