Com: Trucking : What I like about this video is how different it is from other fails it is.
The others are somebody making fun of a guy having a hard time instead of helping out.
This one, the guy is self-critiquing what he didn't do in order to learn and teach...
Com: Trucker : When I saw the title of the video, "...
tight truck stop", my first thought was "I wonder if it's as tight as the Loves in Tacoma, Washington?".
As soon as I saw the fuel pumps and the scale, I knew it was that same one!
I spent a 34 hour restart there once in 2007. I decided to spot drivers parking there. A few old timers said "thank ya, but I don't need any help".
A few minutes later they'd look toward me in my truck, and wave me over to spot them.
It is the nastiest truck stop parking I have ever seen.
I saw two trucks get damaged during my restart. One before I started spotting drivers, and one the next morning when I was getting ready to leave.
That Loves should be condemned!
The really annoying thing is, that the parking area could be widened by 35 feet, without any overhang, and a 3 ft clearance if they wanted to,
but no, better to have driving records fouled up with "preventable" accidents and $10,000 in truck and trailer damage every week from the accidents there almost every single day.
