He must cut softwood trees most of the time because when you cut a lot of hardwood you cut the notch from above to have gravity help because hardwood is tougher/harder. Should have used more than 1 wedge and better to use a longer bar but that 1 was ok also. The hinge was pretty wide but you can get away with that with softwood but with hardwood a lot of times you will not get away with that because the hinge could "barberchair" as we call it, unless the tree is hollow. A tree that barberchairs could very well maim or kill a guy. I will say you had good aim as I suppose it landed where you wanted it to land. I do have the right to comment as I worked in the bush in eastern Canada for over 10 yrs.
from my point of view, it is good for the nation to become aware of such facts, but on the other hand, we ask how long this deforestation will take place. trained for such a function deserves all credits this is my protest thank you
Felling a tree in the exact spot you planned has to be a rewarding experience. There is so much that could go wrong without the understanding/experience of how trees react. I understand the concept but in a tight spot I would get someone like this guy (1st 3 mins) to take care of it.
Greetings friends from Mexico, my comment is just to see if it is worth sacrificing so many little trees for what? At present, what is lacking are trees, we must stop logging or, better said, plant more trees that help us combat global warming or. Don't you think?? Greetings thank you
That is one semi truck that I would not want to be behind on the freeway if something bad would happen, all I can think about is the movie Final Destination
I cut wood in the Sahara desert for 10 years. But there are no trees in the Sahara, I was told. I answered them: it's normal that there are no trees in the Sahara: I'm the one who cut them all down.
