A winding tool? Some weird new tool for something that I might find useful?
Nah, it's a dull less effective hole saw!
Not to mention that it would take more time and effort to make than going to the store to buy one!
It isn't a "hack" if it is less effective in use and more wasteful to make

Why make a hole saw out of three bolts, when you could just use a hole saw?
The only hack I saw of interest was the first one for twisting wire,
but I wouldn't twist it until it broke off, because there aren't enough twists left for it to last long term.
So I'd just twist it down and cut it off with a 1/2" tail.
Also, couldn't I just tighten the wires down into the drill chuck itself?
