My God! Truly a sight to see and in my hometown...let's appreciate for a second also the planning and logistics involved in even getting this machinery on the road...the checking and double checking...all the time , effort and work involved..its quite something
Komatsu are now the proud owners of LeTorneau renamed P&H.The Cat 994K comes in at 5th biggest and the three that precede it are siblings to the L 2350 in the video.Australians you are experts in big transport-nobody beats you there.
It's amazing to a guy like me who has been enjoying looking at large construction equipment for 5 decades to see how big they are getting...We had Big Muskie and the Silver spade but they were the exceptions...The dumpers, loaders and project excavators were big but..They're Tonka toys to these monsters now...I await a 300 ton D13--- :) Skip the 12....:)
Now that is a sight to behold, I couldn't tell what size the tyre are but I could only measure the size of the lead Kenworth and the hubs on that loader, the tyres and the Kenworth could easily be the same size in comparison, thanks for the vids, take care
Ive just watched your latest video with the L2350 that you upgraded to 4K HD. How many of these are in Australia and who owns/is using them? Any idea what size the bucket is on this monster?
