Wolf pack in Thailand. Arrival of US Air Force F-16 fighters for a joint exercise.
You may or may not know that the 8TFW (Wolfpack) was over at Ubon RTAFB, Thailand flying F4's during the Vietnam war. I was stationed at both Udorn and NKP.
Probably korat rtafb was there supporting 388th TFW usaf in 1971-72 a.g.e. heavy maintenance mainly mj1- mj4 bombloader repair also tdys to takhli rtafb(base reopen)- bienhoa afb vietnam support of Easter offensive of 72 with 8th special operation squadron
It's good when the military from different countries shake hands and laugh. I wish the politicians of all our countries could learn from the military, otherwise everyone observes the rule of etiquette and even smiles, but there is no benevolence.
The US could sent F-22 to a joint excercise in Malaysia in 2014 but never to Thailand. Now RTAF wants to buy F-35s. I really doubt if the US will sell them to Thailand after seeing how close tie the country has with China. Remember the joint excercise with china that RTAF showed to China what gripen could do?
United states military usaf is worldwide...cool number 1 and only super power. Has as many aircraft as russia and china combined.
Well let's make sure our military boots are in other countries so when we get attacked we won't have anybody here worth shit
