Beautiful rig - love the color. I had no idea the sport of tractor pulling was so lucrative. The only thing I did not like about this setup is there is no direct access between the cab and sleeper. You have to exit the cab to get into the sleeper which IMO is a big drawback. I wonder what was the thinking behind this arrangement.
This is one of those rigs where you plan a month in advance which route you’ll take. Not like you would be able to make a right hand turn without taking up the entire street. And even then you’ll have a problem. Sure looks purty though.
I went to school with him. He made some of his money hauling very heavy s… very illegally then he got into the Pennsylvania coal business at the right time and he’s five years younger than me which makes him forty two. He’s a pretty good guy. I was just with him a few months ago. He likes the hardwood floors with the seats sitting right on it.
I can't see how it could maneuver through turns. A wheelbase of over thirty-five feet is hard enough to turn by itself. The trailer is fifty three feet, unless it's permitted to be longer. Truck stops have to be a killer to get in and out of. It's a beautiful rig, no doubt about that. Going down the interstate has to be awesome.
I've been driving for 35 years. Driven alot of different trucks and pulled different trailers. Can't say that I would want to drive this monster all the time though. It is a good looking rig. Hate to know the cost. $
Person that drives this is NEVER home. Pure dedication and respect for trucking. If my girl saw me pull up with this, she'll break up in a heartbeat, knowing my new home is this bad boy here lol
Sitting watching this in a Volvo FH eurocab. Waiting to reverse down a single lane one way road with a 90 degree turn into a narrow opening in a wall with cars parked on both sides of it. Typical day in euroland. You couldn't drive that on most motorways here, the turns are too tight.
