I was soo relieved when i seen them use new grease. At first i thaught they were going to reuse the old grease they were harvesting
They are putting a "little bit" too much grease in the bearings. So much grease will create viscous friction, increase the temperature and start decomposing. They really seem to have no clue what they are doing.
CAT needs to send some engineers to this country show them how to properly set up a shop and why its important to use new, clean grease and lubricants to clean parts... This helps them last longer than muddy water..
No wonder that Bearing burned out you aint supposed to have 10000' pounds of torque on the Bearings
I was sure those Canadians had impact wrenches by now and asphalt to work on gotta give em credit this is how you do it in the great white north !!!! Must be natives by the language !!!
What in the name of Merlin the patron saint of hiways is going on here? There should be 90 weight gear oil in those hubs!
