The rail grinding train of the RSHP consists of a traction module and several wagons; equipped with a measuring and control system.
Grinding is carried out by abrasive wheels, which can be installed at different angles to the surface of the rail head.
The grinding system is controlled by on-board computers using special programs.
Grinding of the rail head is performed to form its transverse profile and eliminate unevenness in the longitudinal profile.
Train for grinding rails (rshp).As of 2006, the Kaluga plant "Remputmash" manufactured about 6 such trains (I do not remember exactly how long it was).
With factory number # 002 was assigned in Ukraine, the rest worked in Russia. One RSHP had a narrow-gauge base and worked in the eastern part of the Russian Federation.
Copied the RChP from the Italian rail-grinding train - this is not a purely Russian development. All РшП Ремпутьмаша for that time were identical, that Ukrainian, that Russian.
At the present time, can that modernized - I do not know. But they poured the same sparks.
The problem is not the presence of an eruption, but the dust that settles in the lungs. In the RSHP, this was a big problem. The filters that stood on the overpressure compressors did not help and let in fine dust.
And the Italians had a magnetic catcher, who solved this problem. There was even a variant of a rail-grinding tram with a magnetic catch.
