Wow people are bitching about chipping up wood. There are uses for wood chips, for example there is a hardboard mill which uses wood chips to make board and not far away there is a power plant that burns wood chips. Also they use woodchips for making paper.
I really don’t understand the reason for chipping big trees. I’ve seen huge 10 - 15 foot long oak logs being chipped on other channels. Seems like they would be turning them into lumber. What do they use all those wood chips for? I know that a lot of dairy farmers use sawdust. And probably some other Cattle farmers do too. Maybe paper mills. I do enjoy watching chippers at work.
