Those Warthogs are so cool!! I love that it was the lower ranked grunts who fought to have them restored immediately to active service instead of mothballing them. N0 better plane for close support. Can you imagine being on the ground and enemies are closing in? And then you see the Iron Cross coming in to put some hurt on the bad guys? The marines had some great aircraft. Those Harrier jump jets were supreme.

Saw 3 C130s flying low towards the center of span High Voltage Electricity Towers unaware a small earth wire was above the power carrying lines. At the very last second the first plane turned and climbed to only just miss the earth wire the engine,s roaring with power to climb above it. Had the plane hit the wire it would most sertainlly crashed into the Lincolnshire Town of Holbeach. The following planes climbed withoutthe Emergency of the first. At the time i worked for the local Electric company and was very close to the Tower line.

I'm a fighter pilot, I've flown with some B1 guys who swapped to the F-15. The B1B is one thing, if nothing else... majestic. It just looks beautiful from every angle, the Jessica Rabbit of the flight line. Lots of mechanical and avionics issues though.
