As we arrive on the farm one field has just been finished and the team is on the move. The flexible hoses are rolled up, moved and rolled out again. The pig slurry arrives by means of lorries and is stored in a buffer container. A Massey Ferguson 6499 Dyna-6 uses a Schouten Ideal slurry pump to pump the slurry to the field. The injecting is done at high speed using a Fendt 720 Vario with Schouten Spider 12m umbilical injector and a Cobra double hose reel on the front.
