Why don't you mention that 65% of the US Naval fleet will be due for retirement very soon and after that where does it leave US as a maritime naval power?

A good video, but it missed out several classes of warship. For example, the Russian battlecruisers, which are considered the biggest surface combat ships in the world and the main threat to American carrier groups. In addition, there is American cruisers which are larger than destroyers. They provide a command platform, as well as possessing very large numbers of anti ship missiles. Plus two of the helicopter carriers of the Japanese Navy are being converted into true aircraft carriers.
