Comment : Nee Tires: Those are not new.. Flotation tires have been around for 40 years at least. Ever seen the early monster trucks of the 80s? They used to race on ponds and lakes using the big 60 to 72 inch floaters. It was slow as a snail, but this is not new technology - at least not in the United States. They are made by Michelin and Firestone
Com: Hinch : Technically, the "air volume" of the tires has nothing to do with it - it's the mass of the displaced water that results in buoyancy.
