White pine is a very soft wood.

Might as well use a pencil. I'd like to see a hard wood used for these events. Anything in the Hickory family.

Um hum stopping to sharpen the axe or chain saw a quarter way through the cut would add more challenge!! IMO

They may like to use their tools for chopping and cutting through wood,

but I’d prefer to use those tools for chopping up their bones and hanging their remains in my closet as trophies
