it's almost like the jets are flying too fast for reality to process, so it just ends up doing this

The plane at 1:57 is absolutely nuts.  That’s the lowest flyby I’ve ever seen.  He was within inches of the ground.  That could’ve very easily been an absolute disaster.

Really shows you how their are speed limits in physics on Earth, not because we can't fly faster, but because it's inefficient and causes sonic booms everywhere.

I experienced 0:24 at the fort wayne air show today.  We were on the side road where only a few people were compared to the thousands on the tarmac. He was preparing for a transcend above the strip. So glad I got to experience this. The sound is ground shaking and bone rattling!  Will never forget it

I was at a race at the Kentucky Speedway in the grass , just having a drink and half stoned when a couple fighter jets flew over low and supersonic - and unexpectedly- and I can tell you I hit the ground fast, not knowing what was going on . If you aren't expecting that it really sounds like the world is ending

To this day I still find it amazing what mankind has accomplished. Im not sure any century will ever be as good as the 1900s.

One of my favorite things as a kid was sitting out on a third floor deck beach house on the water in the OBX and watching/listening to the blue angels come by and break the sound barrier
