Salvage of a 102.5 tons heavy glacial erratic rock on a field near Hüven, Germany on December 4, 2020. Heavy equipment was used for the recovery: A 9-axle 800-tonne crane (Liebherr LTM 1750) was needed with an originally estimated weight of up to 140 tons.
Comments: - - I also saw it on TV :-) Impressive chunk! And great shots of the recovery and transport of you! Really very interesting, comes across very well in HDR. Thumbs up and all the best for 2021! Greetings island video!
Hello Gerrtzen, I need a truck to transport a Huge Rock tomorrow. Sorry we have no Trucks available, however we can let you have the I.C.B.M Transporter for the same price.
What is so important about this Boulder/ rock? It’s old yes but so is the world. Just asking, good video and job.
Standard small size rock in Egypt! Now how did they move a 1000 ton or more block of granite or a 1000 ton statue, which was originally far more than 1000 tons before it became a statue and it came from several hundred miles away from the quarry. We can´t do this today. The answer to this is in ancient texts and it was not hydraulics :-)
