Back in the day my dad's mate used to do this to the tyres on his taxi and he wasn't worried about it. Then again he did lose a finger once and barley even noticed soooooo
his just makes it easier for a sharp object to punture your tire thru the thinner areas that are carved into the tires. Chances of blow out are more. Places do this to car tires and get people killed ....lol. Imagine buying a machine , and think u are buying half used tread...
Not like a load thousands of pounds are going to be acting on it or anything. Cost aside, why would this be preferred? Is it a legitimate practice?
Yes it is a solid rubber tire. Remember that the TIRES are the ONLY suspension you have on a Bobcat or forklift or anything that carries a ton of weight. It also lowers the machine.
