So sad that no more C-17's are being made. It's a good-looking and amazingly capable cargo aircraft. The emergency evacuations from Afghanistan showed that perfectly. 823 people in a single cargo-hold! I also remember learning as a kid the amazing fact that it can reverse itself just using it's engines.

I wonder when the USAF will retire that E-4B. With drones being so capable nowadays you could just make a large drone and put all those instruments on it instead of flying such a beast around with a bunch of people on board. You'd save a ton of money on maintenance and operational cost.
