Some chainsaws running at the internation chainsaw collectors meeting at Tändkulan, Degerberga, Sweden.
A comment to all talking about filing and dull chains: These saws are historical relics, kept going just for show. Many have old very worn chains of kinds not available anymore. Also the old two man saws generally have very low chainspeed and the chains from that time were in no way as efficient as modern saw chains. These saws are run just for fun and show a few times a year, it is no cutting competition, just a reminder of what saws were like in the older days. Besides, these logs are Swedish Elm, it is very hard wood to cut.
luckily he's a very kind fellah! Those 2-mans are impressive, but not that efficient, have to low chainspeed, generally. And they are heavy, it's not for the weak boys carrying those around in the woods. Still very nice to see that the oldies can do work.
