John Deere offers the flexibility to choose the right transmission for application requirements.
From the intuitive functionality of the AutoPowr/IVT transmission to the full powershift capability of Automatic PowerShift, solutions are available to fit every application's needs.
The AutoPowr/IVT transmission is controlled from the CommandARM™, as on the automatic PowerShift transmission. Ergonomically-friendly controls work to minimize fatigue while increasing comfort.
AutoPowr/IVT transmission:
Creeper speeds are available, enabling ground speeds as low as 50 m/h (80 km/h)
8RT Series Track Tractors are capable of up to 42 km/h (26 mph).
8R Series Tractors are capable of up to 42 km/h (26 mph) or 50 km/h (31 mph).
Automatic PowerShift:
Provides full powershifts for on-the-go shifting. There is no need to stop the tractor or clutch to change gears; the transmission is capable of shuttle shifting between forward and reverse.
Shifting is controlled using controller area network (CAN) bus technology and patented, closed-loop hydraulic circuit technology.
