Seems the driver can control how the trailer articulates above and beyond just steering it with the truck. Pretty interesting setup. Seems more like a train.

Amazing what man can achieve when he sets his mind to it such a wounder of a piece of equipment to excavate the earth movement equipment! What it can accomplish in a day would take months years ago to do like digging the sewer cannel for instance

They changed the design of dozers so you can replace the final drive and drive sprocket easier. You used to have to lift the rear of the dozer in the air to change the sprocket. Only problem with the new design is the ratio of chain rolling on the sprocket. The chain used to run around 75 percent of the sprocket. That gives you more life before the sprocket needs to come off. The new design, only 25 percent or less of the chain runs around the drive sprocket, which means the chain will be slipping on the NEW design, when it would have 10,000 more hours on the old design.

I did I&D all over the usa at exhibit halls for 40 years. That brought back memories of the crates and union guys on bikes and forklifts in those great halls ... i miss those days
