I got involved with piling corn one time a few years ago in tennessee, lots of damage to the corn and lots of waste, but we got it done, and loading it out was a disaster ,
they hired a wana be farmer with a small articulating loader you talk bout a mess
The one who designed this machine with the loader bucket is a smart, now more flexibility and dvantages on the typical loader and also can be used as an excavator after replacing the bucket
I guess I don't understand why you would have air/hyd operated bottom gates.
A front shovel attachment would do the same thing at alot cheaper cost. Does the "speedloader" have a scale system on it so the operator knows how much he/she is putting on the truck?
By the time he finishes the pile he may figure out how to run the excavator.
This is fun to watch, but wouldn't an auger be way more efficient?
