Com: Tunster : Thank for the video. Saves a lot of time when your up doing this.
Quick question: it looks like your did this quiet a few times and use power tool when starting to re- threading but for us novices do you recommend starting with a hands first till it catches threads and then use a power tool or on the threads this big it doesn't matter?
Com: Reprica : Thank you for being thorough. I've watched a few videos on removing stuck or broken bolts and nobody mentioned anything about retracing threads, even the ones that used heat. Also, nobody has Manti one day the need for patience. Thanks again, for an excellent videa.
Com: Tom tee : Instead of making a video of how to get out frozen or broken bolts, you would be in a far better position if you actually looked up videos on "How to get out frozen or broken bolts" and secondly as just another suggestion, "The correct use of burning torches".
I'm not being smart with you Sir but I would genuinely like to see someone display better work practices as along with that mostly comes also, far easier and safer work practices.
A perfect example of what I'm saying is you welding on that stud and risking further and greater seizure of the thread when the smart way would have been to clamp a nut over it and 'puddle weld' the lot, let it cool then loosen it all with a spanner.
