I was arguing with a neighbor about firearm safety. He had stated that he would never own a Glock because "they don't have any safety mechanisms to prevent misfires if they are dropped." I was trying my best to explain the three safeties but this video did a much better job
Really well done. The fact that the weapon can go through hundreds or thousands of those cycles without jamming and requires minimal maintenance to stay working flawlessly is amazing. I love my Glocks...fantastic weapons.
This is the greatest thing that I've ever seen and I'm dead serious. I know very little of firearms outside of Battlefield, so I had to watch this four times to piece it all together. But when it all finally clicked, only then was I truly able to appreciate the magic that it is this video. Awesome.
The fact a man cooked this up for a military gun competition without any prior experience in fire arms and in a very short time span is nothing short of incredible.
I always wondered how it all works. It is amazing how all these mechanical components work together and it explains why sometimes guns get jammed. Thanks for the great explanation.
Tremendous job Matt! As an old gun hand I've always valued the works of art that we take for granted as tools. Seeing their intricate workings explained helps a lot of us to understand also the right places to polish parts to eliminate grittiness or slop in the action. You' really are an artisan as well as a technical genius and if it were not so, there wouldn't be the tens of millions of views. Kudos again my friend...
