Check out Hack 1 - I am very happy with the final result. The machine works well, there is no vibrations and the power is sufficient.

To make knives, I used a thicknesser blades planer. They are incredibly hard and very sharp.

If you want to do something like that, remember that you do it at your own risk.

I recommend using spring washers for all screws and protective covers....
