ACERT TECHNOLOGY C27
Increased fuel efficiency and maximum productivity have been achieved as the D10T evolved towards the D10T2. Cat C27 engine with ACERT Technology provides power and reliability, maximum performance, high productivity and superior service life.
The C27 ACERT engine provides a high 21% torque increase of 447 kW (600 hp) at 1,800 rpm with maximum net power (SAE J1349 / ISO 9249) allowing the D10T2 to repel tough materials.
It will provide years of reliable service with high efficiency torque divider and electronically controlled powershift transmission.
POWER MANAGEMENT
In the C27 ACERT engine, which helps you increase the amount of material carried with every drop of fuel, A4E4 Engine Control Unit is used, which automatically adjusts the engine power depending on the direction of movement.
The D10T2 can deliver a maximum net power of 538 kW (722 hp) in reverse gear (SAE J1349 / ISO 9249).
With about 20% more power in reverse, you can spin faster, shortening cycle times, increasing productivity and lowering cost per unit of material moved.
AIR COOLED AIR COOLING SYSTEM
Providing cooler air to the engine increases power generation, reduces emissions and improves fuel efficiency. • The Air-to-Air After Cooler on the D10T2 cools the hot and compressed air from the turbocharger, providing cooler and denser air to the air intake system.
