Com: Dennis : A couple 2X12s on the ramps rather than TWO tires(10 would have been better) will stop the metal on metal sliding. (works every time I load a Dozer).
Com: David waller :That ain't no dozer operator and the other guy ain't no truck driver !!
Put some wood down is all you have to do. It's common sense.
Com: Dozer : That is the shit's. Nothing scarier than a rain/ice slick deck.
Those coupla old tires did the trick though. I had a Vermeer rockcutter wheel slide the front end over the side of my trailer once, rear tires stayed on but it was a real scary bitch driving it back off without flipping it over.
Thank God we were working at night instead of the day when there would have been mega traffic going by on the usually busy street.
It's something you never forget or want to happen twice and can happen to anybody at anytime no matter how cautious you are.
I feel for the operator here and am damn glad he was successful in getting the dozer on the trailer safely.
Good job guy's !! :)
Com: Jokkoma : neigther the truck or the trailer look like they're made to haul that wheight in a proper way.
A truck whit pusheraxle wouldn't be on the swedish whishing list's to pull a heavy machinetrailer thats for sure...
