These kinetic axes are ubiquitous in Eastern Europe, Russia, northern Stans, Mongolia, and northern China. Before the millennium, there were very few in the United States, but people now collectively truly understood their superiority over division.
These things are great. No gas, no electricity. Just a little manpower. I've never seen one of these before. Are these available in the US or more European/Russian use?
Where can I get it I doubt it will work on green wood where most of our wood is spiral, axes have lots of knots bouncing but on dry wood it will work like a charm
Where was this build video when I installed mine? For those who oppose, yes, things get stuck. I just set it aside and use a maul, wedges, chainsaw or simply burn it. Some things are divided so crookedly that you can't glue them or fill a stove.
This is so painful to watch... A friend of mine showed me how to split wood properly with an ax and it requires very little effort. You just have to hit the log in the right place and it almost separates itself.
The ax is far superior. one of these may make splitting a large log a bit easier, but an ax will make the average log shorter and easier to work with
