Developed by Québécois inventor Yvon Martel, it's called the MTT-136. Those letters awkwardly stand for My Track Technology, and they adorn a design best described as an electric tracked locomotive tractor sled thingy. The idea itself is pretty simple: put an electric motor and battery pack inside an aluminum box powering a tread going around its circumference and throw a handlebar on one end. And that's pretty much all there is to it.As you can see from the impressive video, this personal tank has a variety of applications, from pulling a sled through the snow and giving a beached car a push to pulling logs through the woods... pretty much everything but make poutine, choreograph for Cirque du Soleil or play power forward for Les Canadiens. It'll go just about anywhere, even when there isn't any snow, and it's even got an auxiliary outlet for powering other equipment like chainsaws and such.
