I wonder what the Air Force has planed to replace the C-5? I know that they are looking into using the SpaceX Starship system for ultra quick delivery but this looks to be a one and done without some infrastructure in place to get Starship back atop a Super Heavy booster for an orbital incertion. If the Starship is to remain in place wherever they land it then it could act as one heck of a forward operating base that could be recovered later or if not a thermobaric self-destruct system could be used to turn the whole thing and immediate area into so much metal laced scorched earth.
