Tracks are becoming an increasingly popular option with Dutch farmers.
They can be interchanged with wheels, have a large footprint and better balance compared to a conventional tracked tractor.
This John Deere 6215R (max 255 HP) is on its first job together with a Lemken Juwel 8 six furrow on-land plough. It is seen ploughing in a cover crop on a lovely frosty morning in February 2018.

On our farm we have mostly around 20-35% of clay but some fields contains up to 60% clay and that is truly challenging to work with. The question is of course how the tracks handle heavy clay, is there build up inside and problems, or are they today good at self cleaning?
And then a rotary wheel on the front linkage might be easy, although it looks really cool !!
