Comment: Tractor Steiger : I think you guys are missing the point. Is it practical? No. This is the owner's hobby project. That field cultivator is at least four decades newer than the tractors. They didn't have implements that large back then by-and-large.
From a purely commercial prospective, this is not practical. This was but recently, for farm shows, etc. If you want cheap horsepower, you can go to tractor and look at used John Deere 8630s from the late 70s, with upgraded engines from the late 80s. Much newer, and better technology. However, watching three old 2 cylinders work together is intriguing.
Comment: MasseyFerguson : It is a cool tractor, but highly inefficient by today's standards. I suspect fuel mileage is rather low in this tractor making it very expensive to operate. Not to mention the general upkeep. The technology though, is amazing and look where we are today versus the 60's. The fact that this machine is still in use is a testament to its owners abilities.
