They Said It Was To Dangerous To Cut because it was already on fire. In an area where it could catch everything else on fire.
Had fallen into an unburned area - would have laddered up and caught fire and threatened homes after we had left. It was reported by another crew and marked as a killer tree because they didn't have any sawyers qualified to deal with it.
Probably spent an hour on it with the crew. Took most time to cool everything down. 25 feet off the black has to be under 200 degrees.
Com: Loggerone: I hate tell you guys this but I can tell that he is NOT a timber faller. I fell timber for a living. You guys need real training from a timber faller that has worked in the woods for years. That job would have been done in less than a minute. I would like to know who trains you guys.
