And you’d be right!But this plow isn’t for plowing large fields of hard stony ground, it’s designed for plowing a homestead sized vegetable garden.
Something like this DIY bicycle plow would be awesome for a medium to large vegetable garden. Most people break up the soil with hand tools which is back breaking work.
A simple plow made from an old bicycle would make the process much quicker and easier. For garden use, I actually see that fact it’s lightweight as a big plus...
Com: Ericssen : I wanted to thank you for posting this, i found the idea intriguing and after building my own made modifications so it could be pulled with my recycled riding mower.
i can run a 8 inch plow with it and it works fine, me and the wife can plow our 1/4 acre garden in just a few hours.
As for the commenters on the "scrap crap" they will never understand what treasures a junk parts box holds during..
that moment when your building (cobbling together) something new and just happen to need "that one damn part.....
