The worst part of cutting firewood is dealing with limbs and branches.
I'll show you a simple devise that can make the firewood cutting process a bit easier. Using 1 1/2 square tubing and my Timber Wolf Wood splitter as a mount I've built a device that will hold limb wood and branches off the ground.
Once the limb is clamped in the jaws you don't have to worry about damaging your chain saw bar or chain on rocks or dirt.

one trick I learned when trying to slide something in place on two pins, whether it be your swinging arm or a trailer ramp, is to cut one pin or in your case one bolt about a half inch shorter than the other.
This will allow you to get started on the long pin and it holds itself in place as you line up the other. I love what you did here!!!!!
